HONORARY JUSTICES
The annual meeting of the Honorary Justices' Association for "Wellington and district was held last evening. Mr. A. Longmore presided over a good attendance.
In moving the adoption of the annual report and balance-sheet, details of •which have been published, Mr. Longmore said the association could be congratulated on having a slight credit balance on the year's operations. Mr. W. H. Edgar would attend the conference at Invercargill on behalf of the Wellington Association, he said, and Mr. Hopkins would attend if possible.
An honorarium of twenty-live guineas was voted to the honorary registrar.
The following officers were elected:— Patron, the Chief Justice (Sir Michael Myers); vice-presidents, the Mayor (Mr. T. C. A. Hislop), Mr. E. Page, S.M., Mr. W. G. RiddclL; hon. solicitors, Messrs. Saiek, Turner, and Brown; hon auditor, Mr. A. M. Anderson; hon. treasurer, Mr. H. W. Lloyd; hon. registrar, Mr. J. L. Arcus; members of council, Messrs. H. H. Price, S. IT. Lambert, and H. H. Seatqn,
