BROKEN BYLAWS
Offenders against the bylaws were dealt with at the Magistrate's Court yesterday afternoon by" Mr. J. G. L. Hewitt, S.M. Fines of 10s in each case were imposed on George H. Bayliss and Raymond H. Hawkins for failing to have rear number plates illuminated.
William Howan was fined 10s for allowing stock to wander.
Claude R. Keating was fined £1 10s for cutting a corner.
James Gear and Albert Gilbert were each fined £1 for not having drivers' licences. On a further charge of failing to keep as near to the left as possible Gilbert was convicted and ordered to nay 10s costs.
Failing to display a heavy traffic disc cost Charles JR. Winger 10s. Leslie Elsby was fined 10s fdr a breach of the parking regulations.
