BEING ALLOWED LET-UP
Chang, who failed when backed down to favourite both ways in the last race at le Kapa last Saturday, is now to have a couple of weeks' spell, but at the end of this time he will be taken up again and prepared for the Auckland Easter Meeting.
Chang has had some hard racing during the past month, and his owner is of the opinion that a short let-up will benefit him considerably. This hack has registered two firsts and three seconds in "his last six starts, and he gives every indication of developing even better form before the season ends. Like the rest of his family, he appreciates soft going, 'and should be an ideal horse for winter racing. ■ . ,
