STTPPEE PARTY
FAREWELL AND WELCOME
Following the performance of the Wellington Symphony Orchestra at the Town Hall last night, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Harvey, who had - assisted in the- programme, were entertained at supper by the executive of the orchestra.
The occasion was a delightfully informal one, and Mrs. Knox Gilmer expressed the thanks and appreciation of all who had seen Mr. and Mrs. Martin Harvey's wonderful dancing. She also welcomed Mr. and Mrs. John Brownlee, who had been present at the concert. Mr. Martin Harvey, in replying, said he hoped to return to New Zealand, and would be very pleased, to find on his1 return that eurythmic dancing had begun and progressed here.
Mr. Brownlee thanked the executive for their welcome to himself and his wife, and M. do Mauny, who was accompanied by Mme. de Mauny, also spoke a few words. Mr. and Mrs. Martin Harvey sailed by the Rangitiki this morning at daybreak.
