SYNOPSIS OF LAST 24 HOURS.
An anticyclone has moved on to New Zealand, and generally the weather has been fair to fine and cool, but a few isolated light showers fell yesterday along the east coast and also, since last night, in the far north. Moderate to fresh southerly winds predominated yesterday, but by this morning they had become more variable, while in North Auckland easterlies were ruling. The tropical disturbance referred to yesterday appears to have lost intensity.
