SITE IN CORPORATION
YARDS?
A conference was held last week between members of the Wellington Fire Board and representatives of the City Council when the suitability of a site offered" at the north-eastern corner of the Corporation's yards for a central fire station was ■ discussed. Locality plans, bore sheets, reports, and layout sketches'were before the conference.
At today's, meeting' of tho Fire Board it was decided to inspect the site on Monday and consider its suitability for a station, as compared with the Clyde Quay site, which is also unflcr consideration.
