TEACHER'S COURT ACTION

CHRISTCHUBCH, This Day. At a meeting of the Education Board the Appointments Committee reported having investigated the Teddington case, in which a teacher had been involved in a Court action The committee did not think it desirable to take further action. It was of the opinion that the teacher might have been the victim of circumstances, but that the incident might have a use in bringing home to teachers generally" the necessity for acting on all occasions so that their standing in the community might not be impaired.
