RACING AT OPUNAKE
SOME HORSES IN FORM
Fields consisting of almost exclusively Taranaki horses make up the programme for the Opunake Racing Club's Annual Meeting at Pihama tomorrow. The weather outlook is good, and form recently shown in the district should give a satisfactory line in most of the events. There will be win-and-place betting. The first race is due to start at noon,
The following horses are likely to be well supported:—
Patiki Highweight,—Davistock and Joyspear.
Maiden Race.—Shillong and Rapper. Railway Hack Handicap.—Glowlicht and Tenteall.
Opunake Cup.—Chopin and Lucky Alice.
. Electric Hack Handicap.—Cereal and Forceful.
St. Patrick's Handicap.—Refresher and Arvada.
President's Hack Handicap.—Garfes and Davistock. Farewell Hack Handicap.—Cereal and Forceful. - -
