PAST [YEAR'S ACTIVITIES

The annual report of the Honorary Justices' Association of Wellington/ to be presented at theT annual meeting this evening, states that auring the year seveii meetings of the council were heia. The council was specially, interested "and instructed by the views of the committee of ladies on the appointment of women police in New Zealand. Since the meeting was held, opinions from reliable sources against the appointment of women police have been received, and the executive is giving further thought .to the matter.
