CUTS RESTORED
IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES
TRIBUTE'TO EMPLOYEES

LONDON, March 10. Imperial Chemical Industries, Ltd., are restoring the 1931 wage cut to twenty-five thousand employees, involving £180,000 per annum. The chairman, Sir Harry McGowan, states that though the world situation is unsatisfactory the company desires to recognise the workers' helpful co-operation The years-- profit was £6,415,000, compared with £4,688,000 in the previous year.
