APPRENTICE SUSPENDED
Suspension until April 1 was imposed on the apprentice jockey, G. A. Baker,, by the Judicial Committee of the Waikato Racing Club on Saturday. The ground for the suspension waß that shortly after the start of the Storey Memorial Handicap Baker, on Teels, crossed over too' quickly, thereby interfering with Paganelli.
Baker rode in four races on Saturday, for one win, on the outsider Rita's Light, two seconds, and one third. The-inquiry was not completed until after the Eureka Handicap, in which Baker rode Musquil into second place.
