BRITISH SAILORS' SOCIETY.
Another very enjoyable entertainment was given at the rooms of the British Sailors' Society on Wednesday evening by Mrsi Oates and Miss Marjorie Flanagin to a large and most appreciative audience of seafarers. . Those taking part in the programme were' Mesdames Lawson and Nash, Misses Peggy Smyth, Dawn Larsen, Noeline i Hazelwood,. Margaret Oates, J. Moynihan, and M. Eule, Messrs. Pitt, p and Pipe-M_ajpr Fraser. The accompanists were Miss; B. Ferguson and Mr. Philpott. At the .conclusion a vote o£ thanks, proposed by. the secretary, was carried by acclamation, and .cheers, after which supper ,was served by the workers of the society. '■',•■.
