SLANDER NOT PROVED
At the' Magistrate's " Court this afternoon, Mr. o .' Miller,. S.M., gave judgment in "favour of John -William Moynihan,-a military trainee, the: defendant in a slander action in- which JohnShiel, a cook, claimed £300. damages. The action arose through an allegation "by. Moynihan against Shiel of indecent assault. : . In giving judgment, Mr. Miller said he believed the evidence of the defendant, s Costs amounting to £19 18s were awarded against Shiel. . Mr. B. O. CSihill appeared for the plaintiff and Mr." A. J. Mazengaib for the defendant.
