CRICKET CAREER CUT SHORT
(Received February 16, 1 p.m.) BRISBANE, This Day. _ Archie Jackson, the Australian Test cricketer, died early this morning at the age of 23. He had been ill at intervals for several years. He was one of the most enchanting batsmen in the history of cricket, and was considered -to be the nearest approach to Victor Trumper. Jackson had announced his engagement on Tuesday.
