The first function in aid of the _1 thousand shillings fund to send the A prade bauds to the national contest at Dunedin will take the form of a joy night at the Town Hall and Concert Chamber next Friday night. The co-operation of the Wellington Dance Baud Association has been readily given to the A grade bands for this joy night, and 26 expert musicians will provide the music."
