EVENTS AT MATAMATA
At the request of a number oE owners the Matamata Racing Club has been granted permission by the Auckland District Committee to alter the order of running for several races at the club's meeting. The order will now be: Tirau Hack Hurdles, Hinuera Handicap, Waharoa Handicap, Matamata Hack Cup, Railway Hack Handicap, Putaruru Stakes, Okoroire Handicap, and Walton Handicap.
The meeting will be decided next Saturday, and it will try out the win-and-place system in the Auckland province.
