', The chairman said that it was up tdt the association to- help the Regatta Club* as the club had'taken on a very big job this year in running both, the Wellington regatta and the interprovincial eights. Ways and means of raising money were discussed, and it was finally decided that the Petone Club should be asked to hold a dance, the suggested date being' tha night of the Mothes Shield regatta. Tha Star and Wellington Clubs are to be asEed to hold a combined dance, possibly; on the night of the interclub eights. The following Mothes Shield officials, were appointed:—Starter, Mr. W.
