BUTTER AND CHEESE PRICES.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., has received the following advice from its London house, dated 18th January:—Dairy produce (last ■week's quotations in parentheses): Butter, New Zealand choicest salted, 81s per cwfc (82s). Market quiet. Cheese, white, 48s per cwt (47s to 48s). Cheese, coloured, 56s per cwt (56s to 57a). Market weak." Joseph. Nathan and Co., Ltd., have received from Trengrouse and Nathan, Ltd., London, the following cabled advice, dated 18th . January:—"New Zealand cheese, white 47s per cwt, coloured 56s per cwt."
