(By Telegraph.—Press Association ) ' MAETON, This Day. A carefully checked and verified leading by an experienced meteorologist gave yesterday's maximum reading m the shade as 92 degrees. The heat was most oppressive and any breeze was also warm. ■ The intense heat is! partly attributable to ,the fact that Martou is situated on a high plateau.
