CRASH INTO TRAMCAR

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, 16th Jan. An anaesthetic was administered in the street to a young man, Alex Campbell, an employee at the Waitara freezing works, who, when riding a motorcycle to-night, crashed into a New Plymouth tramcar. ■

Campbell received a compound fracture in the right leg below the knee, a double fracture in the right thigh a severe gash in the right thigh, and facial abrasions. He was taken to the hospital.
