RETAIL PRICES FOR MEAT
The New Zealand Meat Producers Board has been advised by its London manager that the following retail prices were being quoted for New Zealand lamb and mutton retailed in London during December, 1932. These prices represent a fair average of the prices quoted by the better class shops in London for the best quality New Zealand lamb and mutton. New Zealand Lamb:—Legs, lOd per 1b; shoulders, 9d; loins, 8d; necks, 3d; breasts, 2d; foreqiiarters, 7^d; hindquarters, 9^. New Zealand mutton (wethers): —Legs, 8d;- shoulders, 7d; loins, 7d; necks, 3"d; breasts, 2d.
