TENNIS AT MIRAMAR
Perfect, weather and the prospect of witnessing 'some excellent tennis matches attracted largo numbers of spectators to ' Miramar on Friday and I Saturday afternoons, when the annual contests for the Anthony Wilding Memorial Shield and the Kathleen Nunneley Casket were played, between teams representing Auckland and Wellington. ■ The final matches, for the two trophies are being played to-aay and to-morrow between Wellington and Canterbury teams. Among those present each day was Miss Kathleen'Nunneley, a former Now Zealand champion for many years, who presented :the ■ casket containing her many medals, to be played for by teams of ladies from all parts of New Zealand.
