RICHARD DEHAN
Miss Clo. Graves, the author of "The Dop Doctor," who died in' England, was an unusual figure in London literary life. Most readers know her under, the pen-name she adopted of "Eichard Dehan," says the "Manchester Guardian. V She wore short hair and affected a masculine manner and cut of costume and smoked cigarettes in public some thirty-fivq ■ years ago, when such characteristics, were considered eccentric. ' Edmund Yates.thought her stories . ideal, for his man-6f-the-world "World," .and she alsp contributed to "■Punch." She had much of the talent of the .Irish.
