(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) INVERCAKGILL, 2nd January. , A drowning tragedy occurred at Menzies Ferry, near Wyndham, yesterday, the victim being-Daphne Winter, aged six. She was in a boat with her father and several other children when the craft struck a snag and the child was thrown out. . - ..
