Knights Bachelor: Senator Kingsmill, ex-President of the Senate; Dr. J. L. McKelvey, a leading Sydney surgeon; H. W. Copp, chairman of the Commonwealth Consultative Committee on Development.
Commanders of the Order of the British Empire: E. Abbott, DeputyController of the Department of Trade; Mrs. Alice Baker, philanthropist associated with the establishment of the Medical Eesearch Institute at Alfred Hospital, Melbourne.
