Hans Schonrath, who retired in the' eighth round, at Cardiff in a fierce twohanded fight. Peterson dominated most of the rounds. Sehonrath fought gamely, frequently penetrating the champion's defences, b ; ut tired under the terrific pace. The' heavy punishment also affected his eye, which was Gut in the second round.
