The Department of-Agriculture'has received the following cablegram; dated .26th November, from the High Commissioner tor New Zealand, London:— ■ '
Tallow: Market steady at last quotations.
Hemp: Manila —Market quiet with hardening tendency on account of falling sterling. Sellers asking for "X" grade, for December-February shipment. £16 10s. Sisal—Market quiet. December-February shipment, No. 1 good marks, value £14 10s to £14 los, and No. 1- fair average quality, ; £14 ss. New Zealand—Little more offering, but no first hand sales reported. ~ Nominal value for NovemberJanuary shipment, highpoints, £15; common, £12 15s.
