TO-IWORROW'S MATCH
HAWKES BAY V. WEL-
LINGTON
The present season offers a feast of good things for .cricket's large following, and of numerous special events to take place in Wellington the first is a match with Hawkes Bay. This is to be played at the Basin Boserve tomorrow and on Wednesday, and it should, pro vide cricket of an interesting and entertaining , order. A. strong team has; been selected io represent Wellington against the. visitors, who are making an extended tour, and the match should prove to be an excellent preliminary to the Plunket Shield and other contests ahead. Both N sides will have ( their candidates for Plunket Shield honours, particularly the local side, and some very promising colts will be seen in action. Hawkes Bay ie.cently had a convincing win over.Wairarapa, in the Hawke Cup series, and this should serve to build them' up for a good performance against the strong Wellington team. One of Grimmett's colts from South Australia, Krilayson, will bo'leading, the Ilawkes. Bay team, which also includes Browne, a. former Wellington representative. : ■ ■ .'
