MEETING AT FOXTON

MANGHAM WINS BIG RACE

The Foxton motor-cycle sports; postponed from Labour Day on account of wet weather, were held on Wednesday. Conditions ware ideal, but the attendance was disappointing. "The big event, the North Island middleweight championship, was won by H. Mangham, who was presented with the trophy—a silver cup—by -the club president, Mr. W. T. Jewell. Tui Morgan was presented with the gold badge of life mem-' bership of,, the Foxton United • Sports, Association.
