GRAIN PRICE WELL BELOW COST
CHICAGO, 26th October. train prices to-day dropped to the | lowest value ever recorded by the .Chicago Board of Trade. At a. few interior stations bidding on any basis was entirely suspended. T^e cash prices of wheat and corn in the South-western States are less than onehalf the freight charges to Chicago. The price of Kansas wheat is 20 cents a,' bushel, approximately one-quarter of the cost of production.
