MEDICAL STUDENTS
A report by the General Purposes Committee of the Wellington Hospital Board containing the recommendation "That, after the present'j'ear, the privilege of living-in allowed to sixth-year students be discontinued," came up for consideration by- the board yesterday. After some discussion, Mr. A. J.'McCurdy moved the addition of.the words,."as in other hospitals." The voting was equal, and the chairman (Mr. F. Castle) gave.his casting rote for the clause as amended.
