GOD AS HIS JUDGE
[ (By Telegraph.—Press ' Association.) CHRISTCHUECH, This Day. The Police Court was startled this morning at the sight of an accused man dramatically dropping to his knees in the dock, clasping his hands above his head, :and calling,on CSod. to be. his judge. v * "I am going to be your judge," said the Magistrate, Mr. E. Mosley. The man in the dock, George Percival Williams, aged .41, a carrier, was charged with drunkenness, with committing mischief, and with assaulting a constable. He was sentenced to three months' gaol for assault.
