War, undeclared but actual, is at present flaming throughout Sonth America, covering thousands of miles of -territory. It includes one undeclared war, one civil wax-, and growing fears of a third international conflict as a result of Peru's alleged forcible occupation of a Colombian town.

At least 250 Bolivians and Paraguayans are reported to have been killed in a battle for possession of Fort Boqueron, in the disputed Chaeo area, during the lastttVo week despite the continued diplomatic efforts of neighbouring countries as well asr a commission of neutrals in Washington. At Boqueron, according to reports, 6000 Paraguayans: have surrounded 2000 Bolivians, who ■■, are attempting to hold.the fort. Both countries are rushing reinforcements there for a definite engagement." - ■ , . :

Meanwhile th 6 Brazilian revolution, which has been in progress for almost three months, continues on. a large scale. Federal troops report continued advance;but no decisive action. >Both sides are consuming vast quantities of war supplies imported from Europe and the United States.
