MAGISTRATE'S COURT
Cases at the Magistrate's Court were dealt with to-day by Mr. W. H. Woodward, S,M. A fine of £2, in default 14-davs' imprisonment, waa imposed on. Patrick I Lockett, aged 52, for using obscene language'in Cuba street. The accused, who had two previous convictions for similar offences, was refused time "to pay. On a further charge of drunkenness, Loeiett was convicted and discharged. George Stanley Regan, aged 35," a fourth offender for drunkenness, was sentenced to seven days' imprisonment. tSeorge Henry Skeggs, a seaman, 'aged 53,' Who was arrested on Saturday night on a charge of fighting in Taranaki street,' was fined £1. Ernest Henry McGinity, a boilermaker, aged 37, who was the other party to the altercation, did jiot appear, and was fined £2. For using obscene language in a public' place, Charles Donald Hoskyn, a labourer, aged % s4, was fined £2, in default 14 days*! imprisonment. On a further charge of drunkenness, ho was convicted and discharged. ~
