CHEESE QUALITY IMPUGNED
.Messrs;;S.amuel Page and :Co., writing London, 9th August,-, report - that "the New Zealand cheese market is puzzling and^disappointing for,' despite small paper stocks and "ideal summer weather, values ot New Zealand are lower than they were a month ago—after white declined 4s it has recovered slightly, but coloured is a dragging sale at 555. There has been -considerable trouble with coloured, much of" wh,ich .has not been true and many cheeso: have been found to be mouldy when cut. This has resulted in buyers giving a preference to white, and in ; filling what«lemand there still is for coloured with Canadian." ■
