NAVAL OFFICERS' PRAISE
(Eeceived 19th September, 8 a.m.) DARWIN, 18th September.
Ships 'of the Australian Fleet have been exercising off Port Darvjin. The Admiral, captains, and officers are greatly impressed with the potentialities of Port Darwin harbour as a safe and sheltered naval base. Elaborate fortification work is being carried on there.
