FULL TO THE HATCHES
So full that she had to refuse•cargo, the Federal steamer Cambridge left Auckland last week for London with almost every exportable product of New Zealand represented in-her freight, reports the "Star." At Auckland the Cambridge loaded 37,500 boxes of. butter and 4000. crates of. cheese, and largo consignments of wool were then unexpectedly offered. ■ To make room for those, some that had been; loaded at Timaru were put ashore to wait for the next Homeward steamer. The Cambridge loaded at Timaru, ' Lyttelton, Wellington, and Napier before completing at Auckland. Her total allotments of dairy produce amounted .to 39,500 boxes of butter and 12 ; 000 crates of cheese. In addition to the above-mention-ed dairy produce and wool the Cambridge took tallow, flax:, milk powder, casks' of hides, and. kauri gum. The Cambridge, which: is proceeding; via. Cape Horn, is scheduled •to' reach L'oii-. don about 25th October, - -:.--:-•.-■■ "
