OFFICERS' REUNION

The fourteenth annual reunion >of the New Zealand Rifle Brigade Officers' Association was held at the United Services Club on Saturday evening. Colonel R. St. J. Beere, D.5.0., presided over a.meeting of. thirty-seven members. ■the annual report made feeling reference to the death of Colonel Austin, the late secretary, and members stood in silence as a tribute to his memory. Colonel Beere was re-elected president, ana other officers and members of the committee were re-elected for the ensuing year. ■ b.

Colonel -Butcher proposed the toast of "The New Zealand Staff Corps," and Captain Hackworth "The Bands of the Brigade." Among the guests of the evening -were the G.O.C. (Major-General W. L. H. Sin-clair-Burgess) and Colonel Cunningham. Ine musical arrangements were in the hands of Mr. T. Vaughan. Fraternal greetings were exchanged with the Auckland members of the N.Z.R.8., who were holding a reunion on the same date.
