SYDNEY, This Day. Giving evidence before the Wool Committee, John Oswald Forsyth, merchant, said that if tho Federal Government made- arrangements to trade with Russia on a limited credit system such as that operating in Great Britain it would benefit Australia to thtf extent of five million a year. Mr. Forsyth gave evidence in regard to markets for wool in China, Manchnria, and Russia, his knowledge of which, was gained by personal experience in these countries over a period of fourteen years. Russia was a woolgrowing country, he said, out had a population of 160,000,000, which was increasing at the rate of 21 per cent, annually.
