TO BE PROSECUTED
HARE INQUIRY WITNESS
SYDNEY, 26th August.
At the mechanical hare inquiry today the Royal Commissioner intimated that he would order the prosecution for perjury of John Cruickshank, a witness who declared that he had not called at the Chief Secretary's Department on 3rd March for a permit for greyhound racing at Orange, despite the fact that Departmental officials positively identified him.
