THE TIRE OF TO-DAY
ARE PRICES HEALTHY ?
A striking example of the efficiency of modern motor-bus transport was recently disclosed in England. In a return giving a summary of the involuntary stops made by the buses of the Isle of Man road service it was officially reported that in a total distance of 1,018,781 miles there had been only three stops for tire punctures.
Probably no section of the motor industry has undergone such remarkable development as is manifest in the firstgrade tire of to-day. Despite the fact that vehicles now travel faster, aecelarate quicker, and are subjected to more severe braking, the mileages have been steadily mounting, prices have fallen, and so tiro upkeep has lost its import-
