The death, of Kilbroney, oue of ths greatest sires that have ever been im« ported to the Dominion, occurred at Messrs. Stone- Bros.' farm, Papatoetoe^ on Wednesday. He was by ..The "Wag, and was a high-class racehorse in England, among his victories being tha Goodwood Cup, Doncaster Cup, and the Great Metropolitan, all at two miles or longer distances. He had just en* tered his twenty-sixth year, and was no longer being used at the stud, His progeny included Kilboy, Loughrea, Suggestion, Killowen, Insurrection, The Banker, Eazzle Dazzle, Concentrate, Oratrix, Compris, and numerous other excellent performers.
