TWO AGREEMENTS

DUNEDIN, 26th August. At the close of to-day's sitting of the Conciliation Council the Commissioner, Mr. S. Ritchie, expressed pleasure at the fact that he had been able to bring about two industrial agreements in one day—warehousemen's and canister workers—and complimented tho assessors and representatives on the excellent spirit in which they had carried out the negotiations.
