SLOW HARVESTING
RUSSIAN WHEAT CROP
PEOPLE EXHORTED TO HURRY,
MOSCOW, 31st July. Only 32,000,000 acres of wheat, or 15 per cent, of the whole area sown, have been harvested, \ compared with 43,000,000 acres on the same date in 1931.
Soviet papers are exhorting the people, especially in the Ukraine, to hurry the harvest to prevent losses.
