Th* s«cretsry reported progress of first aid Classes at Karori, Manakau, Mira< mar. Hutt Fire Brigade, Hutt Railwa-y Worlceh6ps, and Girl Guides Home Cursing.' The Wellington Nureing Division held its fortnightly mteting last week. The superintendent, Miss McKnight, announced thit all members bad pasted the reexamination conducted by Dr.' Palmer oh 27th June.-Another ■ cadet nursing divinion, the St. ■ Paul's Church Crusaders, hit bften attiohed to the division, and Mrs. Cook was congratulated' on being Appointed cadet superintendent. At the conclusion of the business good work was dojn« in first aid squad practice. There ■ was a full attendance of memb«rs at a recent meettrig of the' Y.W.C.A. Nurting Division, when Dr. C. Gordon Kemp, divisional surgeon, delivered a yety interesting and instructive lecture bo "Maternal; Emergencies." The super* intsndent, Mrs. Ruseell, thanked Dr. Kemp for. his kindness in giving his time for the benefit of the division, and a vote of thanks was carried with acclamation.
