SHOAL IN NAPIER HARBOUR.
The Marine Department has received information from the Xapier Harbour Board stating that a shoal with a least depth of 26 feet at mean low water spring tide has been located in a position about 018 degrees 1% miles from Ahuriri Bluff lighthouse, and. that to mark the shoai a red conical buoy, lias been moored southward of it in a' depth' of 42 feet at mean low water spring tide. Jlasters of overseas vessels with a draught approaching 21 feet should not proceed inwards past Ahuriri Bluff lighthouse bearins 210 degrees where they will be boarded by a pilot. .
