KARORI v. WELLINGTON
Although IJarori and Wellington gave a spirited display, neither team was able to-give of its best owing to the sticky and; uneven No. 8 ground. Wellington played one man short throughout the game, and did well to prevent Karori from winning- by a larger margin than two goals. Karori were leading 1-nil at halftime. Whithair and Burt scored for Karori. Mr. E. P. Staples controlled the game. ■ ■ . - ' '
