FIGURES FOR THE MONTH
," The Customs revenue collected at tlie Port of Wellington during tho present month" totalled ,£165,807, as compared with £190,171 for July, 1931, a decrease of £24,364. Included in the present month's figures is £10,999 derived from the increase of 2d in the petrol duty. The beer excise duty this month amounted to £3975 as against £3010 for July of last year, an increase of £965. This- amount of petrol duty this month at 6d a gallon was £32,997, a decrease of £11,433 in comparison with the total for July, 1031, £44,429,
