•The Davis Cup. draw for Friday is Borotra (France)' v. Vines (U.S.A.), Oochet (France) v. Allison (U.S.A.). On Sunday Borotra v. Allison and Cochefv. Vines. It ia considered that tho luck of the" flraw favoured America.; The French would have liked Cochet to meet Vines oa Friday when at his fittest. As Borotra is playing in'both singles, the doubles team is likely to be Cochet and Brugnon. Cochot therefore faces Vines on the third of threo successive days' Jjlay, whereas Vines rests on Saturday. The American doubles pair, is expected to be Allison and van Eyn.
