PING-PONG MATCH
■A ping-pong match was played between teams of six ladies and six men from the Education and Government Life Insurance Departments .on Monday, and resulted in. agoo4 win for the latter team. Some excellent games were seen and some of the'rallies brought forth loud applause from the onlookers. Miss Clyde, Education, defeated the 'Wellington champion lady,. Miss Sturrock, in a noteworthy game. Williams and Kennedy, the Wellington champion doubles players, were also beaten by Turner and Mills. Probably the most interesting game of the evening was between Williams and Turner, which was won by the former after Turner had maintained- a ' lead for three parts of the game.
